ABOUT PATRYK CHAOU

Born and raised in Canada, Patryk has been living and working in Hong Kong since 1997. He holds a Bachelor Degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a Masters Degree in Fashion and Textile Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. 

With a varied background in fashion, Patryk has built a repertoire of skill sets from being a stylist, producer and art director for over 10 years, across multi-platforms and channels. Prior to a 4-year tenure at Calvin Klein as the in-house fashion and casting director, he worked for 7 years as a freelance stylist as well as worked with the Clinique Asia Pacific Consumer Engagement team in charge of social media content creation and management.

Patryk has also deep experience in events, fashion show production and talent casting.  Some of the most notable productions he has managed and helped produce include the Fendi on the Great Wall show, Burberry Opening Event in Beijing, Singapore Fashion Festival and the Hong Kong MasterCard Luxury Week. He has worked with top names in the modelling industry including Du Juan, Emma Pei, Liu Wen, Ju Xiao Wen, Dylan Xu, Lara Stone, Matthew Terry, Kendall Jenner, Hao Yun Xiang and Zhao Lei. With an impeccable eye for spotting new talents, many of the new faces that Patryk has casted in his work have since gone onto walking the runways in New York, Milan, Paris and London. Many has also since fronted advertising campaigns of international designers such as Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada, etc.



Patryk’s success lies in his passion for the fashion industry and creative arts.  He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new sights, cultures and cuisines - working around the globe in cities like Hong Kong, New York, London, Milan, Sydney, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila and Ho Chi Minh City.  He finds inspirations whenever and wherever he sets foot abroad and uses his experiences as a spring board to new ideas and concepts.
